It's a Scholarship Program making summer dreams come true! This program is for children 5 years to 12 years old to register for Arlington Parks and Recreation Department summer camps.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Based upon federal income guidelines and is available to Arlington residents only. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other City of Arlington scholarship. The Camp DREAM program will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

ACCEPTED DOCUMENTATION TO VERIFY INCOME:

  • Proof of Arlington residency required: current utility bill or lease agreement, letter provided by AISD representative
  • Proof on income is also required. Applicants can submit one of the following:
    • Current Federal Income Tax Return (No W2s)
    • Last 4 pay stubs pay stubs (enough equal to one month’s income)
    • Government assistance award letter (current Medicaid Card or SSI) 

NOTE: The required documents must be uploaded online when submitting an application.

HOW TO APPLY:

Please click the link below and complete an application. If funding is still available, you will be contacted to finalize your application including a $5 application fee. Income verification and registration for classes will be required at the time of application approval. Upload your documents online for faster processing. Up to two sessions of programs will be awarded per child.

  

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Participants are required to attend a minimum of 3 days per week. Participants must uphold the minimum attendance requirement each week to be eligible to register for future weeks. If this requirement is not met, this will result in a loss of funding.

Participants are required to register in advance. Space is limited. Being registered for a week does not guarantee registration for any future weeks. A camper has a secured spot in the week only after registering and receiving a receipt or confirmation of registration.

Camp Dream is only for children 5 years to 12 years old. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other City of Arlington scholarship.

If a weekly camp is cancelled due to low registration, the program participant will be moved to a future week of camp as space allows. A parent must withdraw a child from an activity at least 72 hours prior to the start of the first class in order to transfer the child to another week of camp. The more notice we receive, the greater the chance of us being able to fill the slot with another qualifying individual.
