The City of Arlington encourages all multi-family complexes to provide recycling opportunities for their residents. Effective November of 2018, all new multi-family plan submittals for construction will require a recycling plan per the new Multi-Family recycling ordinance . Developers are encouraged to review the Step by Step Multi-Family Recycling Guide. Existing complexes are not required to provide recycling services at this time. The City of Arlington provides drop-off recycling locations for our multi-family residents at each of our libraries free of charge. PLEASE, no food waste, furniture, leaves/limbs or non-recyclables to avoid contamination which would prevent recycling of the materials.
