Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and there are plenty of great ways to give back to your hometown. Whether you're serving families at Mission Arlington or running to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs, we have ideas to practice the true meaning of the holiday. Plus, as the weather gets colder, leave the leaves to us. We've put together a Thanksgiving to-do list you won't mind tackling.
The City of Arlington's leaf recycling centers open for the season Nov. 21, 2019 and will stay open through Feb. 21, 2020. To participate, bring bagged leaves to:
- Arlington Landfill (800 Mosier Valley Road)
- UTA Baseball parking lot (Mitchell Street, near Fielder Road)
- Bowman Springs Park (7003 Poly Webb Road)
- S.J. Stovall Park (2800 W. Sublett)
