National Medal of Honor Museum Site Finalist

The City of Arlington is proud to be a finalist for the future home of the National Medal of Honor Museum, which will honor the service and patriotism of some of our country’s greatest heroes.

The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation is expected to announce in September where the museum, which will draw millions of visitors to learn and experience the stories of the medal recipients, the wars in which they fought, and the ideals that the medal represents, will be built.

Here’s your chance to help the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation select The American Dream City! The North Texas community is invited to comment on the association’s Facebook post about the museum announcement about what makes Texas the ideal location for this museum. More than 3,500 military service members have been awarded the Medal of Honor since it was first presented in 1863.
