Levitt Pavilion Resumes Concerts with Social Distancing and New Hospitality Center
The coronavirus pandemic forced the Levitt Pavilion Arlington to cancel its summer concert series. But the venue is resuming in-person concerts this weekend with new safety guidelines — and a new hospitality center.
The venue's lawn has now been divided to give families and groups their own, socially-distanced area. You can reserve your space for $2 online by clicking here. Groups can include up to eight people. Attendees must also wear masks at all times, except when eating or drinking. If you're not yet ready to venture out, the concerts will also be streamed on the Levitt's Facebook page.
The re-opening weekend lineup includes performances by Max Stalling and Steve Helms Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 and Gary P. Nunn and Brad Russell Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020. The fall concert series runs through Oct. 18, 2020.
Attendees will also notice a major change on the other side of the lawn. The Levitt's new hospitality center is now completed and will be opening soon. The center includes a multi-use space upstairs and public restrooms on the first level.
"It's going to be so nice when you have an event here or come to a concert," said Levitt Pavilion Executive Director Letatia Teykl. The multi-use room upstairs is equipped with technology to host meetings, weddings or other large events. There is also a deck overlooking the lawn and stage.
