Arlington Residents Can Dispose of Household Items at Landfill for Free Up to Three Times a Year
Cleaning up around your home? Arlington residents can bring bulky materials, such as old carpet, appliances, tree limbs, tires, or fence panels, to drop off at the city landfill for free up to three times a year and at a discounted rate for each additional visit.
How does it work? Arlington Water Utilities account holders and authorized users can take advantage of their free and discounted landfill visits by providing a valid Texas driver license or valid Texas ID at the Landfill scale house when bringing in a load of residential trash.
This benefit is only available to homeowners whose permanent residence is in Arlington. This offer is not transferrable.
The primary account holder's name, address and Texas driver license/Texas ID must match the Arlington Water Utilities account information. Please contact the Action Center at 817-459-6777 to update outdated water bill account information and to add or remove authorized users. Authorized users MUST live at the residence with that address on drivers license.Residents can also click here to add or remove an authorized user.

Arlington residents have not been required to print landfill coupons for redemption at the Arlington landfill since 2020.
Contractors, landlords, other multiple property owners, and apartment complex tenants are subject to regular landfill fees.
