City Announces All Rides on On-Demand, RAPID and Handitran are Free on June 26, 2023, to Celebrate Ridership Milestone

To celebrate 2 million trips on Arlington’s on-demand rideshare service, all rides on City transportation services—Handitran, RAPID and on-demand—will be free this Monday, June 26, 2023.

Riders do not need to enter a discount code when booking their rides on any of the services for this date. The fare will automatically be free.

Arlington’s citywide on-demand rideshare is available from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday for those who need transportation out of convenience or necessity. The service can also connect passengers to the CentrePort TRE Station and the Meadowbrook area of east Fort Worth. Click here for more information about on-demand and how to book a ride.

RAPID, an autonomous public transportation service available through the on-demand app, operates from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in Downtown and at The University of Texas at Arlington campus. Click here to learn more about RAPID and how to book a ride.
