On Friday, October 29, 2021, at approximately 2:45 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to a single-vehicle wreck in the 7100 block of Silo Road.

Investigators believe a Lexus L2430 was traveling southbound along Silo Road at a high rate of speed, when it went over a curb, struck a cement pillar, and rolled onto its roof. Several residential fences were also damaged. 

The driver of the Lexus, a 45-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
