Summer is Winding Down But Fun Continues on with Arlington Parks’ September Events
Summer might be coming to an end, but the fun is continuing on as the weather cools off! Mark your calendar for these upcoming September events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.
Doggie Dip Pool Pawty – Saturday, September 7
Bring your pup to Howard Moore Play Pool for our Doggie Dip Pool Pawty! The pool will be open for dogs to roam and play in the fountains as we finish out these dog days of summer. It will be open to small dogs (25 lbs and under) from 9-10 AM, and large dogs (26 lbs and over) from 10:15 - 11:15 AM. $5 per dog with pre-registration. Please note, tickets at the door on the day of will be $7/dog.

Paint Night at Ventana – Friday, September 13
Join us at Ventana Grille for a fun instructor-led paint night! Dinner and a non-alcoholic beverage will be provided, and you’ll take home your masterpiece at the end of the night. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase with 20% added for gratuity. Participants are encouraged to bring their own decorated apron. Best apron will win a gift card to Ventana Grille! Pre-registration required.

Dottie’s Woodland West Centennial Car Show – Saturday, September 14
Shift into overdrive as we celebrate 100 years of Arlington Parks and Recreation! Show off your build and connect with your neighbors from 10 AM – 12 PM. Whether you're into classic or modern cars, come share your passion of all things automotive. This event is FREE to attend!

Aging Well Expo – Wednesday, September 18
The Aging Well Expo for adults ages 50+ is an in-person, free, fun, and informational one-day event that brings businesses and the community together. Our hope is to engage and encourage adults to leave motivated to live healthier lives! This year’s expo will take place at the Esports Stadium Arlington & Expo Center from 9 AM – 2 PM and will feature more than 100 vendors, fitness demonstrations, health screenings, housing resources, educational presentations and more!

Family Video Game Night – Saturday, September 28
Join us at The Beacon Recreation Center for a fun-filled evening of video games and connection! We will have a variety of old and new games to play from 6-9 PM. Pizza is included in the registration price of $10 per person. This is a great way to spend your Saturday night so come join in on the fun and play your heart out!
