The most wonderful time of the year, the holiday season is here! Mark your calendar for these upcoming December events with Arlington Parks and Recreation.

Olde Town Christmas Market – Saturday, December 7

Join us for an unforgettable holiday shopping experience at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center! The 25th Annual Olde Town Christmas Market is set for December 7 from 9 AM – 5 PM. Delight in photos with Santa, tasty treats, vendors, crafts, and plenty of fun. Gather your friends and family of all ages for this favorite holiday tradition!

Pancakes & Pajamas (50+ yrs) – Tuesday, December 10

Join in on the holiday fun at East Library and Recreation Center by having breakfast with us in your favorite PJs! We will serve pancakes, orange juice, and play a festive game of jeopardy. Participants will also have the opportunity to donate pajamas to those who are less fortunate through SafeHaven of Tarrant County. Pre-registration is required for this event.

Mayor’s Holiday Luncheon (50+ yrs) – Thursday, December 12

Seniors are invited to the Mayor's Holiday Luncheon at Bob Duncan Center on December 12! Enjoy entertainment, delicious food, and door prizes with Mayor Jim Ross. Doors open at 10 AM. Space is limited and registration is required for this event. Member registration opened November 4, and non-members can register after December 2.

Paws & Claus – Friday, December 13

Celebrate the paw-liday season and bring your best-dressed pets to Dottie Lynn Recreation Center on December 13 to take photos with Santa himself! Pictures are scheduled every five minutes starting at 6:30 PM. Dottie Lynn staff will contact you and confirm your time slot.

Cookies with the Clauses – Saturday, December 14

Everyone is welcome to come decorate cookies, play festive games, and make some holiday crafts with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at East Library and Recreation Center! Don't forget your camera for pictures with the Claus family. Families are welcome. Festivities will begin at 10 AM and the cost is $6 per child.
