Increasingly recognized for its interest in exploring technology-based mobility solutions, the City of Arlington has partnered with to begin the first self-driving, ride hailing service in Texas available on-demand to the general public.

Starting Oct. 19, 2018, shuttles are operating on streets within Arlington's world-class Entertainment District and surrounding areas as part of the City's latest transportation technology pilot program. Through a convenient, on-demand ride hailing system, shuttle passengers are able to connect with employment centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, public recreational spaces and the Arlington Convention Center.

This type of innovative transportation technology isn't new for The American Dream City. In 2017, Arlington became the first city in the United States to offer continuous autonomous shuttle service to the public, with the Milo pilot program.
