Early Voting for the May 1, 2021, General Election Runs April 19-April 27

Early voting for the City of Arlington's May 1, 2021, General Election begins Monday, April 19 and will continue through Tuesday, April 27.

In Arlington, voters will elect a mayor and City Council representatives for Districts 3, 4, 5 and 8. A Runoff election, if necessary for any of the races, will be held June 5.

Early Voting Dates and Times

  • Monday, April 19 through Friday, April 23,: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 24: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 25: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, April 26 through Tuesday, April 27: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Early Voting Locations

In all, 43 early voting locations are available throughout Tarrant County. Voters have seven locations in Arlington in which to cast their ballot:

  • Elzie Odom Athletic Center, 1601 NE Green Oaks Blvd., 76006
  • Center for Community Service, Junior League of Arlington, 4002 W. Pioneer Pkwy, 76013
  • City of Arlington Water Utilities South Service Center, 1100 SW Green Oaks Blvd., 76017
  • Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse in Arlington, 700 E. Abram St., 76010
  • Tarrant County College Southeast Campus, EMB-C Portable Building, 2100 Southeast Parkway, 76018
  • University of Texas at Arlington (Maverick Activities Center), 500 W. Nedderman Dr., 76019

Ask Alexa!

Arlington residents who have enabled the “City of Arlington, Texas” skill on their Amazon Alexa device can ask basic questions about polling and voting locations. "Alexa, ask City of Arlington, where is my polling location?” and “Alexa, ask City of Arlington, Arlington Alexa, who is my City Council person?" are two examples of questions that can be answered by the City’s Alexa skill.

Mail-in Ballot Application

Friday, April 16 is the last day for a person to submit an application in person with Tarrant County Elections for a mail-in ballot. Please visit the Tarrant County Elections website for more information on how to request a mail-in ballot.

Election Day Polling Locations

If you are voting between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, you can vote at any open polling place in Tarrant County. To find the closest polling location to you, please use the online Tarrant County Voter Lookup Tool.

Please note, Gunn Junior High, 3000 S. Fielder Road, will not be available as a polling place on Election Day because of Arlington ISD construction. Additionally, two other Arlington ISD sites that will be open for the May 1 Election Day will not be available as polling locations for the June 5 Runoff Election, should one be necessary, because of planned construction. These affected sites are Berry Elementary School, 1800 Joyce St., and Shackleford Junior High School, 2000 N. Fielder Rd.
