Over 300 items collected by Key Elementary students to help the homeless shelter pets!

It only took three days, but it took lots of passion and desire on the part of Key Elementary students to collect over 300 items to help the animals at Arlington Animal Services (AAS).

Key Elementary Student Council skillfully led the entire school in grades K-6 in a donation drive to benefit the animal shelter.

Students collected and donated dog and cat food, pet toys, kitty litter and many other exciting items for the homeless shelter pets.

Key Elementary school teacher, Julie Williford expressed joy and excitement over the success of this project stating "this is the favorite drive of the year for the students of Key Elementary".

AAS wishes to thank Key Elementary and everyone that participated in this special event for their generosity, hard work and dedication to helping the sheltered animals.
