Friends of the Arlington Public Library Fall Book Sale Starts Next Week

Clear off those bookshelves, it's time once again for the Friends of the Arlington Public Library Fall Book Sale!

Featuring more than 60,000 items in fiction, nonfiction, children's, DVDs, CDs, and books on tape, the Friends Fall Book Sale at Meadowbrook Recreation Center has something for everyone. Blue Book Specials on Saturday feature different deals throughout the day, and Sunday afternoon from 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. is open exclusively for teachers with a valid school ID, who are invited to take what they can carry for a suggested $5 donation. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted.

The sale opens to members of the Friends group on Wednesday, September 21, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memberships will be available at the door for those who wish to join. The sale will be open to the general public Thursday through Sunday, with specific times as follows:

Thursday, September 22, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, September 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, September 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Blue Book Specials!

Sunday, September 25, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Half Price Day

Sunday, September 25, 5:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. Teachers only
