The Spa at Loews Arlington

In The Heights

In The Heights, a musical created in by Lin Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegria Hudes, is set to open the 2025 Season at Theatre Arlington. Set against the beats of salsa and hip-hop, this acclaimed musical tells the story of Usnavi, who longs to pick up his roots and move away from Washington Heights, the tight-knit New York City neighborhood that shaped him. This vibrant show will fill your heart with its spellbinding infectious energy. This show contains adult themes. It all takes place at Theatre Arlington. Wicked Threads: The Artistry of Costume in Oz AND Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition at the Arlington Museum of Art

Following the release of the highly anticipated film, the Arlington Museum of Art will debut a collection of costumes from Wicked (2024) celebrating the artistry of the costume design and twenty-one years of the beloved Broadway musical Wicked. The Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will feature a collection of larger-than-life images taken by Diana’s trusted friend and Official Royal Photographer, the late Anwar Hussein, as well as his sons Samir and Zak. Each image will be accompanied by first-hand accounts of the stories behind the world-famous moments, told through an in-depth audio guide.

Little Explorers – Downtown Library

Stop by The Children’s Play Room at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library on 10 a.m. Fridays for a morning of play-based learning.  This come-and-go program will vary week-to-week as librarians explore art, math, science, engineering, and fine motor skills.  Join the Arlington Public Library for a playfully discover the world around us! Family Storytime – Southeast Branch Library

Join the Arlington Public Library’s fabulous library staff to sing, read and wiggle during storytime at the Southeast Branch Library 10:30 a.m. Fridays. This storytime is geared for ages 2-5. They will read books, sing songs, and have an activity after the program each week. Birdhouse Building 

You can assemble a simple wooden birdhouse together that you then get to take home 1-2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at River Legacy Nature Center. This class is for 5-10 year olds. Creature Features: Trans-Pecos Rat Snake

Join River Legacy Nature Center 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, for this month’s Creature Features, as you are introduced you to Trinity, our Trans-Pecos Rat Snake! 🐍 Learn all about this fascinating, non-venomous snake—its adaptations, behavior, natural habitat, and more. Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series

The world’s best two-wheel racers converge on AT&T Stadium for the annual race on Saturday, February 22, 2025.  The indoor and outdoor seasons of the SuperMotocross World Championship series consist of 17 Supercross races and 11 Pro Motocross races, providing 28 rounds of racing building towards the 2025 SuperMotocross Playoffs and World Championship Final. Gates Open / Practice & Qualifying starts at 11:30 a.m. FanFest hours are 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Opening Ceremonies are at 6:00 p.m. with racing staring at 6:30 p.m. Tickets and FanFest Passes are available now on SeatGeek.com.

Black History Month Artist Reception

Enjoy a cultivated evening of culture by perusing a stunning artist gallery by local Black artists 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. Pack the Park: UTA vs. Tarleton State University: A Nationally Televised Basketball Game

The UTA's men's basketball team will take on Tarleton State University in a Western Athletic Conference game that has been selected to air nationally on ESPNU. Tip off will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at College Park Center. Come and be a part of history, as UTA aims to set a new attendance record for College Park Center. A Night at Hogwarts: The Music of Harry Potter

Witches, wizards, and muggles, throw on your robes and hop aboard the Hogwarts Express for a magical evening as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra brings the enchanting world of Harry Potter to life! It takes place 7:30-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at the Arlington ISD Center for Visual and Performing Arts. Journey through unforgettable musical moments from the films that have cast a spell over generations. From the soaring strings of “Hedwig’s Theme” to the thrilling “Nimbus 2000,” and the majestic beauty of “Fawkes the Phoenix,” this concert will transport you straight to the wizarding world. The symphony will transfigure the Arlington ISD Center for Visual and Performing Arts into the Great Hall of Hogwarts, where music and magic combine for a spellbinding night. Don your house colors, grab your wands, and prepare for a symphony of sorcery that promises excitement, wonder, and bravery in the face of dark forces! Sunday Brunch

Ventana Grille at the Tierra Verde Golf Club clubhouse is now serving brunch from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each Sunday. Menu items include four savory Eggs Benedict entrées, Shrimp-N-Grits, Ginger Salmon, and their favorite - Napoleon's Last Meal, a buttermilk fried chicken breast over bourbon French toast and served with maple syrup!
