Noon Year Party (50+ yrs) – Friday, January 3
Come join us at East Library and Recreation Center to start 2025 together! Seniors are invited to celebrate the New Year at 12 PM at East’s Noon Year Party on January 3. We will have refreshments, games, music, and cupcakes for your enjoyment. Must be a 50Y+ member to participate.

Thrive in 2025: New Year, Better You! – Monday, January 13
Join us at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center for an afternoon of wellness and fun to kickstart the New Year! From 12-3:30 PM you can enjoy fitness classes, expert nutrition advice, and interactive sessions with staff about the new ACTIV fitness center. Stay energized with healthy snacks, take part in our wellness raffle, and kickstart your journey to better health! This event is for ages 18+ and is free to attend.

MLK Day of Service Festival – Monday, January 20
Celebrate the contributions of community volunteers at the MLK Day of Service Festival in Downtown Arlington on January 20! This event from 10 AM – 2 PM will showcase the MLK essay contest winner, local dance troupes and music groups, the Tarrant County College traveling timeline, and informational videos on MLK Jr. Come enjoy this FREE family-focused event with face painting, imagination playground, and great community entertainment!

Paint & Sip – Friday, January 24
Calling all art enthusiasts, parents looking for a date night, and Bob Ross lovers! Join us for Paint & Sip at East Library and Recreation Center where we will have refreshments and mocktails for you to snack on while we follow a guided painting lesson from 6-8:30 PM. Childcare add-on available for $20 per child. Dinner provided during childcare.

Plunge & Pancakes – Saturday, January 25
Join us for Plunge & Pancakes on January 25 from 9-11 AM, where brave souls take a thrilling polar plunge into the Woodland West Pool and warm up afterwards at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center with a delicious pancake breakfast! This is an all-ages family event so come be a part of the fun!
