Work has started on the City’s Multimodal Delivery Pilot Program, which will test the efficiency and scalability of using autonomous, electric delivery vehicles to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while serving residents in need. An estimated 300 boxes of food will be delivered to Tarrant Area Food Bank clients living in East Arlington during the study. The first demonstration pilot will be held the week of September 9.

This project aligns with the City Council’s priorities to Enhance Regional Mobility. You can read more about the pilot program, in the latest edition of the Enhance Regional Mobility newsletter. You can also learn more about citywide street projects and updates, and Safe Streets Arlington.
