In a recent list released by Livability.com, Arlington was named among the top 25 best places to live in the Southwest. Arlington’s convenient location within the DFW-Arlington metroplex, thriving economy, affordable housing and entertainment options are cited as highlights of living in the city.
The data-driven ranking is based on extensive research into economic variables and factors influencing quality of life with an emphasis on affordability, culled from the Livability.com Top 100 Best Places to Live list. Livability and Applied Geographic Solutions collected data for over 2,000 U.S. cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000. The data focused on eight categories, including economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.
