Dog of the Week – Meet Pee Tree

This five-year-old male Short Coat Chihuahua mix is red in color and weighs 9 pounds. Named after the adventurous character from "Land Before Time," PeeTree embodies the same spirited curiosity and zest for life. He's always on the move, eager to explore the world around him. Because he’s so active, getting a picture of him sitting still is quite the challenge—but that’s just part of his charm! PeeTree is a true lover of treats and will do just about anything for a tasty snack. Walking well on a leash makes him the perfect companion for those who enjoy long walks or outdoor adventures. Despite his small size, PeeTree has a big personality and doesn’t shy away from any person or animal that comes his way. He is very easygoing--truly the friendliest of the friendly! Due to some skin allergies, he has attained VIP status. Come adopt PeeTree during our "Clear the Shelter" event. All adoption fees are waived through the 17th of August. Meet PeeTree at Dog Condo (DC) 3, his ID number is A56375917.

Animals of the Week – Meet Bailey & Trainee

These two Guinea Pigs are black and white in color. Bailey and Trainee are representing all those other animals that we get at the shelter that are not cats or dogs. Guinea pigs are the perfect pint-sized companions. These little furballs are social, sweet-natured, and full of personality, making them wonderful pets for families, first-time pet owners, or anyone looking for a small, loving companion. Guinea pigs are known for their gentle and curious nature. They love to explore their surroundings and chat with you through their cute little squeaks and purrs. These small pets thrive on companionship, both from their human caregivers and from other guinea pigs, so they’re happiest when they have a friend to share their home with. They're easy to care for, requiring a cozy habitat, regular feeding, and some daily social time to keep them happy and healthy. In return, they’ll reward you with endless affection and entertainment. Meet Bailey and Trainee in Exotics and their ID numbers are A56511085 and A56511082.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
