Dog of the Week – Meet Elmer
This three-month-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is tan, white and black in color and weighs 19 pounds. Elmer is the first of two siblings that we are highlighting this week. In the accompanying photo, Elmer is the one with the white around his nose, like white Elmer's glue! This "youngin" is a bit timid but full of potential. He's still trying to get the hang of walking on a leash and needs a bit more practice. Curious of his surroundings, he does show a strong interest in treats, though he's still figuring out how to enjoy them. With patience and gentle guidance, Elmer is sure to blossom into a confident and loyal companion. Like Elmer, Spiral is working on his leash skills and is fascinated by treats, though he needs a bit more time to understand how to savor them. These brothers have a special bond and would love to be adopted together, but they are also happy to thrive individually. Both are young and adaptable, making them the perfect candidates for a loving home that can offer them the training and affection they crave. Whether adopted together or separately, Elmer and Spiral are sure to bring joy and companionship to their new families.
