Dog of the Week – Meet Denver

This one-year-old male Catahoula Leopard mix is blue black and brown (merle) in color. If eyes are indeed the windows to the soul, then his eyes reveal a world of kindness and curiosity. Although he might seem a bit nervous at first, it's only because he hasn't been with us for very long. Denver may have a slower spirit due to his initial nervousness, but don't let that fool you. We believe there's a playful and energetic side just waiting to be unleashed. With a little patience and love, Denver is sure to come out of his shell and show off his fun-loving personality. He does love being out of the kennel and interacting with "hoomans". We suspect he's holding back on the "zoomies" until he finds a new pet guardian willing to provide the time and care he needs to feel safe and secure. VIP status has been bestowed on him due to his nervousness. For the month of July, all adoptions are available for $7. Meet Denver at Dog Adoptions (DA) 4, his ID number is A56292915.

Dog of the Week – Meet Rachel

This three-year-old female German Shepherd mix is black and brown in color and weighs 69 pounds. Rachel is a sweet girl ready to find her forever "friends" and become part of a loving family. Despite being a bit bigger in size, Rachel is actually on the smaller size for her breed and is fully grown. She's got a gentle demeanor and a heart full of love to give. While she does well on a leash, she could use a bit more practice to perfect her walking skills. She's eager to "PIVOT" into a new, loving home and start her next chapter outside of the shelter. With a little patience and guidance, she'll quickly adapt and become the perfect companion. Having achieved VIP status due to being somewhat timid, Rachel is waiting for you to make her dream of a "furever" home come true. Meet Rachel at Dog Adoptions (DA) 9, her ID number is A56372219.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
