Randol Mill Family Aquatics Center

Get ready for some fun in the sun! The City of Arlington’s Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center, Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center and its three free outdoor splash pads open on this Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-May 27, 2024.

The City’s other outdoor pools, Allen Bolden, Woodland West and Howard Moore pools, will open for the season Saturday, June 1. The family aquatic centers and the outdoor splash pads remain open through Labor Day weekend in early September, while the smaller outdoor pools will close on Aug. 4. Click here to visit the Aquatics webpage to see more information on pool hours, admission, holiday schedules and special events.

New Rules for Coolers and Outside Food: Starting this swim season, guests may not bring or have outside food provided by a caterer or restaurant delivered into City pool facilities. This change is designed to improve the guest experience by reducing the amount of trash left in the pool area. Dietary restrictions, food allergies and baby formula are exceptions. Guests may bring in food from home. Concessions are also available for sale at the Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center and the Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center.

Guests who bring in coolers that measure 20 inches by 20 inches or larger will also be assessed a fee. The cooler fee is $5 at the Howard Moore, Woodland West and Allen Bolden pools and $10 at the Randol Mill and Bad Königshofen family Aquatic centers. All coolers, whether hard-sided or soft-sided, will be inspected at the pool entrance. As always, glass containers and alcohol are not permitted.
