Dog of the Week – Meet Riley
This three-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 41 pounds. Our first selection this week is probably the sweetest girl you'll ever encounter! Riley is a well-behaved, affectionate dog who lives for love and companionship. Her tail wags joyfully whenever she receives attention, showing her gratitude and eagerness for constant affection. Though she may appear worried in her kennel, her true personality shines when she's out interacting with staff or volunteers where she becomes a bundle of excitement and happiness. Riley simply loves being near "her" person, sharing love and loyalty even though she really hasn't found "her" person yet. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Gibbs
This two-year, one month old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 63 pounds. Having been in the shelter for nearly a month, Gibbs (aka as Mr. Perfection) is ready to find his "furever" home. Like our other featured dog, Gibbs was a little shy when he first arrived at the shelter, but he's now starting to come out of his shell and show his true, wonderful personality. This handsome and well-behaved boy knows how to sit and loves to play with toys, with fetch being his absolute favorite. He will happily return the toy or ball back to you every time. He's a gentle guy who adores being petted and will make a loyal, loving companion.
