Choctaw Stadium, originally called The Ballpark in Arlington, has stayed busy despite The Rangers moving across the street to Globe Life Field. The challenges of staying open despite after The Rangers’ departure included marketing and scheduling events on the filed and in the structure, as well as leasing the stadium’s 100,000 sq. ft. of office space. Despite these challenges, the stadium continues to thrive. 

Jared Schrom, vice president at REV Entertainment, is the main frontman for Choctaw events. “In terms of booking events, it’s getting really hard to navigate scheduling because we have so much content that’s running through Choctaw now,” said Schrom, a former minor league baseball pitcher sidelined by arm issues.

Space leasing at Choctaw is handled by Zang-Adams Real Estate. “Once a new Mexican restaurant moves in this summer (El Tiempo Cantina), and Spark (a popular coworking office) finishes its final phase, we’ll be close to 100 percent occupied,” says Jamie Adams.
