The spring 2014 Naturally Funtimes magazine is now officially available to the public in digital and print format. Printed copies of the magazine are available at the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department office and recreation centers, City Hall, and City of Arlington Libraries.
BETTER THAN EVER
Following the acquisition of Marketing and Enterprise Development Coordinator Phillip Rogers in 2012, the popular Arlington magazine's layout underwent a complete transformation consisting of changes in typeface, content, organization, and copywriting. The third edition of the re-designed layout continues to increase the magazine's value to the reader.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
The spring release offers readers an in-depth look into the APRD's schedule of events and programs, but uses local talent to fill media and content needs. Throughout the issue are photos of some of the smallest Arlington residents. Arlington photographer Line Martel showcases her art on the front and back cover of the edition. Throughout the issue there are feature stories highlighting outstanding members of our community, tips from the head Golf and Tennis professionals, and stories from popular NaturallyFun Authors.
The issue also offers an infographic perspective into the value of trees and the economic impact of parks and recreation on property value, community revenue generation, and health. The APRD's newest addition, the Southwest Nature Preserve, has also been highlighted. Other features include: Fitness Discounts, Valentine's Day Dinner at Ventana Grille and recreation center day trip information, and more.
