Backflow Preventer Backflow Prevention is important

The purpose of the Cross Connection Program is to protect the City of Arlington water supply system by eliminating potential sources of contamination resulting from illegal cross connections and backflow.  

** Please note: As of Jan. 20, 2025, the City of Arlington has chosen to partner with the Envirotrax® system to allow for the online submission of Backflow Prevention Assembly Test and Maintenance Reports.

All testing results will be entered directly by the authorized Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) into the online password protected Envirotrax® system. Testers will no longer be able to submit paper test reports directly to the city.
