The Employment, Litigation, Civil Service division handles the majority of the litigation in which the City is involved, provides legal support to the Police Department, and manages employment and personnel legal matters. The attorneys in this division routinely counsel managers on employee relations matters related to performance, discipline, internal grievances, and Fire Department Civil Service policies, and provide representation to the City’s Meet and Confer management team.
