Helen Wessler Park

The execution of an Interlocal Agreement between the City and the Arlington Independent School District (AISD) marked the exchange of the City’s Helen Wessler Park site for AISD’s Roark Elementary School site. The Parks and Recreation Department has now started the design phase of the new park, to be located on the site of the old Roark Elementary school. The park and splash pad is tentatively scheduled to open in May 2025.
