Arlington students who entered the 2020 Value of Water Mini-Poster contest know what a big difference water can make, from happy trees and flowers to fun times canoeing on the lake.

Arlington Water Utilities’ annual Value of Water art competition kicked off and Sept. 8 and ended Oct. 13. The contest is co-sponsored by Arlington Public Library, River Legacy Living Science Center, and Tarrant Regional Water District. The yearly mini-poster contest is timed to coincide with the national Value of Water campaign’s Imagine a Day Without Water. Imagine a Day Without Water is a national education campaign on Oct. 21 that brings together diverse stakeholders to highlight how water is essential, invaluable, and in need of investment.
