From live entertainment, to doing your part to Keep Arlington Beautiful or celebrating the Lunar New Year, here are a few ways to enjoy your weekend in The American Dream City. 

Miller Lite Country Nights at Texas Live!

Miller Lite Country Nights return to Texas Live with a great concert. Randall King takes the stage at the Live Arena 6:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2022 before he makes his Grand Ole Opry debut Tuesday, Mar. 15, 2022. Tickets can be purchased on the Texas Live! website

4th Annual Fish Creek Cleanup

Help Keep Arlington Beautiful as the 4th Annual Fish Creek Cleanup takes place at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. Help clean along eight miles Of Fish Creek In southeast Arlington. In previous years, more than 8 ½ tons have been cleaned from the creek and surrounding areas. Bags, gloves, and lunch will be provided. For more information, click here.

Family Computer Time at the East Library and Recreation Center

Family Computer Time returns to the East Library and Recreation Center 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. If you haven’t had much experience with a computer before, come out and learn the importance of having one at home and how to use it. You can connect with your child and work together as a team. Also, you can learn how to access the different digital resources that the Arlington Public Library offers, such as Brainfuse. Learn more about the event here.

Lunar New Year Festival at Ben Thanh Plaza

Celebrate the Year of the Tiger this weekend at the annual Lunar New Year Celebration at Ben Thanh Plaza in East Arlington. The celebration, which is expected to include a Lion and Dragon dances and fireworks, starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, in front of Ben Thanh Plaza, located at 1818 E. Pioneer Parkway. Events later in the day include a traditional New Year’s ceremony for invited VIP guests between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., followed by live music until about midnight near the food court.
