1. Holiday Lights Parade 

Head Downtown Saturday for a day full of Christmas fun. The George W. Hawkes Downtown Library is hosting an afternoon of Reindeer Games with a visit from Santa himself, staring at 2 p.m. The parade begins at 6 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at 7 p.m. Then, make sure to hang around to watch "The Santa Clause" at the Levitt Pavilion. All events are free. 

2. Interlochen Lights

Arlington's Interlochen neighborhood opens to visitors Friday night. You can walk or drive through to enjoy one of the country's most festive neighborhoods. Arlington Police will be directing traffic from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. nightly through Christmas. 

3. Breakfast with Santa

Arlington Parks and Recreation is hosting Breakfast with Santa Saturday morning at the Cliff Nelson Recreation Center. Your child can enjoy a morning of crafts before taking an adorable picture. Tickets are $10 per person. Click the link above for a full schedule and purchasing information. 

4. Holiday in the Park

Get in the holiday spirit at Six Flags Over Texas. The theme park is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for its Holiday in the Park event. You'll enjoy your favorite rides plus 2 million lights, specialty Christmas shops and a visit from Santa himself.

5. Texas Christkindl Market

An Arlington tradition returns. The Texas Christkindl Market is now open for the season. You'll find German-inspired stores and traditions plus an outdoor ice skating rink. The Market is open through Dec. 22, near Texas Live! Admission is free.

6. Arlington Music Hall's "Spectacular Christmas"

Singing, dancing and all your Christmas favorites together in one show. Arlington Music Hall's "Spectacular Christmas" is back this year with performances Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Tickets start at $5 for children and $10 for adults.

7. Christmas Make & Take at Union Worx Coworking

There's something special about a handmade gift, and Union Worx Coworking is giving you the chance to show off your creativity. The coworking space in Downtown's Urban Union is hosting a free "make and take" Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Crafts include bath salts, a room spray, foot scrub or Christmas tree diffuser. Your first craft is free. You can make the other items for $3-$5 each. 

8. Cookies & Cocoa with Santa at The Y

The Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA at Cooper Street is hosting Cookies & Cocoa with Santa Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon. The event includes a photo with Santa, craft time and a performance from the Martin High School Choir. Admission is free.  

9. XFL Renegades: Meet the Team

Meet the players set to take the field at Globe Life Park in February. The XFL Renegades are hosting a meet and greet Saturday at Maverick Stadium at UT Arlington (1307 W. Mitchell Street.) You're invited to attend practice from 11 a.m. until noon. Then, hang around for autographs and photos with players and Coach Bob Stoops. 

10. Cowboys Watch Party at Texas Live!

If you can't make it to AT&T Stadium Sunday to watch the Cowboys take on the Rams, you can still watch with some of the team's best fans. Texas Live!, in Arlington's Entertainment District, is hosting a watch party on its 100-foot screen. The fun starts two hours before kickoff, at 1:30 p.m.
