“Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” Opens Aug. 20 at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington

 Experience an immersive and interactive digital art exhibition that takes guests into the world of Vincent Van Gogh at Choctaw Stadium (formerly Globe Life Park) in Arlington starting Aug. 20, 2021. 

The exhibition titled Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has made its way to nearly a dozen cities in the United States and several others across the globe.

Residents and visitors can explore the life, secrets and work of the 19th century renowned Dutch artist through cutting-edge 360-degree projections, a virtual reality experience and atmospheric light and sound show. Van Gogh’s works stretch floor-to-ceiling in separate galleries through informative panels, re-creations and engaging interactives.

The exhibition is hands-free with digital components. The spacious settings allow for socially distancing. More safety measures are in place and can be read here. The exhibition is also wheelchair accessible.

Tickets are available but are limited. It is open to all ages and there is free entry for children under four years old. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9 a.m.– 9 p.m. The experience lasts between 60-75 minutes.
