Dog of the Week – Meet Poppy

This four-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix is fawn and white in color and weighs 46 pounds. Poppy is a well-mannered, happy-go-lucky dog waiting for a chance to share her future with a family. She is looking for lots of love and attention. Playing with toys seems to make her happy but the human interaction really is what "floats her boat". Poppy walks well on a leash and will take treats gently. She has tested positive for heartworms so her new adopter will need to follow through with necessary heartworm treatment. Luckily, the heartworm treatment is sponsored, and info will be provided at time of adoption.
