Dog of the Week – Meet Zander

This two year old male Labrador Retriever mix is black in color and weighs 59 pounds. We’re still in the first month of new year’s resolutions so it’s time to resolve to adopt a shelter animal. Zander is a good candidate to encourage you to increase your physical activity. He’s very active and likes to run and play fetch. He can walk well on a leash if the mood strikes him and does seem to know the command of “sit”. If you can get him to slow down he does like to be petted. Just think – many happy people have dog hair on their clothes. Adopt Zander-get happy and make him happy, too! Meet Zander in Dog Adoptions (DA) 26, his ID number is 43488251.

Cat of the Week – Meet Sparky

This one and half year old female Domestic Shorthair is blue in color. Sparky’s name doesn’t really describe this cat. She’s very quiet and demure. Her contentment is demonstrated by her lying by your side. She likes to be petted on the cheeks and has very small purr. Engaging her in playtime activities does take some coaxing. Sparky would probably do best in a quiet environment with older children and adults. Don’t delay-come adopt Sparky today! Meet Sparky in Cat Adoptions (CA) 9, her ID number is 43566484.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
