Pets of the Week - Meet Gadget and Roxanne!

Cat of the Week - Meet Sunflower

This one and half year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown and black Tabby. When Holly Anne first arrived at the shelter as a stray, she was somewhat “hissy faced”. She has since changed her tune and has calmed down. While she still can be a little nervous and apprehensive, she is really looking for a friend. She expresses her desire to be the center of attention by vocalizing and appreciates it when she gets a response to her “request” for attention. Holly Anne would probably do best in a quieter environment. Providing her with a safe “cubby” in a new “purrever” home will allow her to take in her new world at her own pace. Adopt Holly Anne and help her come out of her shell. Holly Anne is in Cat Condo (CC) 2, with ID number A47997264.

Dog of the Week - Meet Holly Anne

This four-year-old female Retriever mix is brown and white in color and weighs 42 pounds. Sunflowers are such cheery flowers that bring a smile to your face and this canine version of a sunflower is no exception. While she is a very active dog she does walk nicely and calmly on a leash. When meeting other dogs, Sunflower enjoys talking with them and will “play bow” while showing her excitement. She also has the cutest “submissive grins” that she likes to show off. Sunflower would probably do best with an active family willing to provide her opportunities to expend her energy. She’s the perfect medium size dog looking for a family with a large heart. Meet Sunflower in Dog Adoptions (DA) 19, her ID number is A47792122. Due to the amount of time she has been in the shelter, Sunflower is considered one of our VIP pets. Adoption fees are only $10 for any dog over 20 pounds until July 3rd.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
