Pets of the Week - Meet Kodak & Homer

Cat of the Week - Meet Kodak

Kodak is our chosen cat of the week. This two year old male domestic shorthair is red and white in color. When Kodak came into the shelter he was little "rough around the edges" due to a wound on his head. He's healing nicely and is ready to go home with a new pet guardian. His favorite pastime is taking long naps and stretching out where he can be most comfortable. He shows off his contentment (a lot) with a strong purr. He loves being petted and is friendly to any person willing to offer up attention. Because Kodak has tested positive for FIV, he should remain an indoor only cat. An adopter that can provide a healthy lifestyle for him and regular vet visits to monitor his immune status is desirable. With an adoption fee of only $25 who could pass up this Kodak moment? Kodak is in Cat Condo (CA) 25, with ID number A47947860.

Dog of the Week - Meet Homer

Homer is our chosen dog of the week. This four year two month old male pit bull terrier mix is brown and white in color and weighs 82 pounds. Homer is a long time resident of the shelter. He did have a little "vacation" stay in a foster home recently. As you may see from his photo he's quite the gentleman (or "gentledog"). While he has plenty of energy to burn, he really does have a gentle side. He loves being out and about and will walk well on a leash. Of course, that is after burning up some of his energy. Homer might do best being the only furry fellow in your household. He has been tested as heartworm positive, but due to a generous donation his heartworm treatment is sponsored-in fact, he's already completed his first treatment. A new pet guardian will need to follow up with the subsequent (sponsored) treatment. Hit it out of the park by adopting Homer for only $25! Meet Homer in Dog Adoptions (DH) 307, her ID number is A47585382.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
