Dog of the Week – Meet Ruby

This six and half year-old female Border Collie mix is black and white in color and weighs 34 pounds. Ruby, are you contemplating going out somewhere? Like a new furever home? This specimen of a dog walks well on a leash, knows the command of sit and is partial to belly/chest rubs. She wasn’t as interested in playing with toys as she was garnering your attention. Border collies are known to be smart and athletic. An active family with older children that can channel Ruby’s energies and provide lots of exercise opportunities are on her wish list today. Meet Ruby in Dog Adoptions (DA) 19, her ID number is 23502327.

Cat of the Week – Meet Catterella

This four-year old female Domestic Shorthair is black and white in color. Owner surrendered recently to the shelter, Catterella is looking for a new “purr”-ever home where she will be the one and only furry companion. She is very inquisitive—she even tried to “catch” the butterflies on the window of the meet and greet room. Patience is the key word to winning her over. She does like to be petted on the cheeks and neck and will respond with a quiet purr. Be a fairy godmother to this Catterella and adopt her today. Meet Catterella in Cat Adoptions (CA) 15, her ID number is 31621136.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
