No Appointments Needed for COVID-19 Vaccines at Arlington Fire Department’s Public Health Building

The Arlington Fire Department continues to encourage residents ages 12 and older to get a COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves and the community during the coronavirus pandemic. Getting a vaccine is easier than ever. The Arlington Fire Department is holding weekly vaccine clinics at its Public Health Building, located at 2920 S. Cooper St. No appointments are necessary for the vaccine clinics, which are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Apply for up to $25,000 for Neighborhood Improvements

Looking to spruce up the neighborhood? This year’s Neighborhood Matching Grant Program has $150,000 available to fund improvement projects that will beautify and enhance the public spaces and strengthen neighborhoods throughout The American Dream City. Neighborhoods can apply for up to $25,000 for their projects, which could include public art, beautification, landscaping, entrance signs, sidewalks, traffic calming or other neighborhood capacity building improvements. City’s Tool Sharing Program Offers Variety of Home Repair Tools, Equipment at No Cost

Looking to improve your curb appeal or tackle some weekend home repair projects? Check out the many tools that are available for residents to use at no cost through the Tool Sharing Program. Items, including lawn mowers and weed trimmers, power washers, paint roller frames, electric drills and more, can be borrowed for up to three calendar days.
