This edition of Neighborhood Network News truly comes from the heart. From a special Valentine's Day dinner to a free health event, it's a to-do list you won't mind tackling. (And it just might save your life.)

✅ Focus on your health

The free Aging Well Expo is your chance to make sure you're staying healthy. The event features more than 100 booths offering a variety of health screenings and demonstrations. The Expo is Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Esports Stadium Arlington, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Click the link above for more information.

✅ Treat your Valentine to a night out

Ventana Grille, at Tierra Verde Golf Club, is offering a special Valentine's Day menu. The meal is $40 per person. And if you can't celebrate on the 14th, the special menu will still be available Feb. 15. Click the link above for more information.

✅ Get free tax help

Filing your taxes can be a daunting task. But free help is available thanks to Tarrant County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA. Volunteers will be at Shadow Brook Apartments, the Hugh Smith Rec Center and TCC Southeast through tax day. Click the link above for hours and eligibility.

✅ Get ready for spring

It's time to start focusing on the lawn again! Arlington is offering free leaf recycling through Feb. 21 at the Arlington landfill, UTA Baseball parking lot, Bowman Springs Park and Stovall Park.

Warmer weather also means we'll soon be watering our lawns. Arlington Water Utilities is offering free sprinkler gauge kits to help you save water and money. To get yours, visit Arlington Water Utilities Customer Service, the Lake Arlington Branch Library or River Legacy Living Science Center. The offer is good while supplies last.
