Are you looking to get out of the house, support a local business, and maybe even trek around the park? Arlington Parks is hosting a single food truck pop-up dinner at a few parks this Friday, May 8th and Tuesday, May 12th, from 5-8 pm.

Unlike our usual Food Truck Dinner Series, this will be a single food truck at the park. No music, chairs, table, games or entertainment will be offered or provided. Patrons can stop by and order food to go or enjoy a picnic dinner in the park.

Food trucks will be following food safety standards as normal, plus specific COVID 19 rules including social distancing. Food will be given in to-go containers, wrapped up with sealed plastic ware.

On Friday, May 8th Connie's Louisiana Kitchen will be at Stovall Park (2800 W Sublett Rd, 76001), and Rockin Rooster will be at River Legacy Park (701 NW Green Oaks Blvd, 76006).

Then, on Tuesday, May 12th Chicago's Taste & More will be at Stovall Park (2800 W Sublett Rd, 76001), Connie's Louisiana Kitchen will be at River Legacy Park (701 NW Green Oaks Blvd, 76006), and TBDwill be at Vandergriff Park (2800 S Center St. 76014).

As a reminder, Arlington parks and trails are currently open to visitors with proper social distancing. All parks playgrounds, workout stations, restrooms and water fountains remain closed at this time.
