Even with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s recent announcement, the uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect events planned for spring and summer. The classic rock band, Styx, was scheduled to perform at Levitt Pavilion Arlington on May 14. Their May 14 concert has been rescheduled for Oct. 16, 2021. Those who have purchased tickets will have their tickets honored for Oct. 16, 2021.

“There are too many things we cannot anticipate for a concert in May as people start to attend events again,” said Letatia Teykl, Levitt Pavilion Arlington’s executive director. “We need to be financially responsible for a concert this spring. Prior to rescheduling this Styx show, we worked through several scenarios to try and make it work.”

The Levitt staff will continue to update ticketholders and those who would like to purchase tickets through e-mail blasts, e-newsletters, the Levitt website and mobile app, and through social media on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

The Levitt has scheduled a ticketed concert with country artist Wade Bowen and special guest, Justin Ross, on March 20. Tickets are on sale from $25 to $100 in groups of two and four through the Levitt’s website at levittpavilionarlington.org and the free Levitt Arlington mobile app. Proceeds from the Wade Bowen concert will help the Levitt present 50 free concerts in 2021.

Free music returns to the Levitt lawn May 7 with concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through July 18 and Sept. 3 through Oct. 17. The Levitt also plans to livestream all of its 2021 free concerts. As artists for 2021 are confirmed, they will appear under Upcoming Events on the Levitt’s website, Calendar on the free Levitt Arlington mobile app and Facebook Events.
