On Sunday, April 5, 2020, at 7:42 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to a shooting call in the 2100 block of Foxcroft Lane. When officers arrived, they located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound and an adult female with an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Responding officers detained two juveniles in the area of the incident. Due to the age of the juveniles, the department is limited in the information that can be legally released. Investigators do not believe that this was a stranger on stranger crime and that all parties knew each other.
The motive is unknown at this time, and the case remains under investigation. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been identified.
