The Arlington Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:23 a.m. in the 2500 block of S. Watson Road in the southbound lanes.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on S. Watson Road from E. Arkansas Lane. For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist lost control and struck the curb. The rider was ejected and struck a light pole at the location and was pronounced deceased at the location.

 Investigators have not ruled out the possibility of speed and failure to maintain control of the motorcycle as contributing factors in the crash. The deceased is a man in his mid-20s.

 The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
