Celebrate Día de Los Muertos during a week-long celebration with the Arlington Public Library. Día de Los Muertos is a Mexican holiday honoring family and friends who have passed on. The entire community is invited to celebrate their loved ones through art, family activities, and more.

This year, the Arlington Public Library will commemorate Día de Los Muertos with a series of virtual programs. These programs aim to highlight and celebrate the traditions surrounding this festive holiday. Events will take place on the Arlington Public Library’s Facebook page.

With roots in Aztec festivals and Spanish Catholic holy days, Día de Los Muertos is celebrated today as a festive, lively remembrance of family and friends. Everyone, no matter their cultural background, is invited to celebrate and remember their loved ones on Día de Los Muertos.
