CVS Health will begin offering free coronavirus testing in Arlington Friday. The location at 815 E. Abram Street (Abram & Collins) will have self-swab kits available at its drive-thru pharmacy window. No testing will be done in store.

The tests are free with insurance coverage, and results should be available in two to four days. If you are uninsured, have your social security number and state ID are available at the drive-thru.

You must be at least 18 years old, have coronavirus symptoms and complete a registration form online to be tested. If you are selected for testing, you will receive a confirmation message and appointment time. Remember, you will administer your own test. If you are not comfortable using a nasal swab, you can bring someone to do it for you.

As a reminder, Tarrant County is also providing free coronavirus tests to symptomatic adults. Click here to learn more.
