Arlington Fire Department Scheduled to Provide Approximately 7,100 Second-Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Shots This Week

COVID-19 Vaccine Update

The Arlington Fire Department expects to provide more than 7,100 second-dose COVID-19 vaccine shots this week at its emergency mass vaccination site at Esports Stadium Arlington + Expo Center.

The vaccination site is scheduled to be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 2- March 4 to provide second-dose Moderna vaccine shots to individuals who received their first-dose shots at the site between Feb. 1 and Feb. 5. The Fire Department will reach out by email and/or text message directly to those individuals with follow-up vaccination appointment information.

Individuals who receive confirmation of a second-dose appointment this week are asked to:

 1. Bring their vaccine card given at the time of the first dose

 2. Arrive within their appointment time frame

 Additionally, Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams will host a telephone town hall meeting Wednesday, March 3 to discuss the City's ongoing coronavirus response, which includes collaboration with state and federal partners to operate a COVID-19 Community Vaccine Center at Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium.
