Three awards lined up

The City of Arlington’s Office of Communication was honored to receive five awards from the national City-County Communications Marketing Association (3CMA) for its video programming, events, graphic design and social media community outreach efforts.

The Savvy Awards, held in conjunction with 3CMA's Annual Conference in Orlando, Fla., recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships.

The Savvy Awards salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing. 3CMA accommodates local government organizations of all sizes and budget classes by judging entries in several different population groups.

“This achievement is testament to the dedication and hard work of our City’s talented, creative communication team,” said Jay Warren, Director of Communication and Legislative Affairs. “We are committed to fostering transparency, innovation and engagement within our community, and these awards reflect our ongoing efforts to connect with our residents in a timely manner with content they find useful and engaging.”

The City of Arlington brought home the following awards:

Graphic Design – Annual Reports – Arlington Police Department FY22 Annual Report, Savvy Award
