Drawing professional gamers and enthusiasts from across the globe, Esports Stadium Arlington made its debut last month as the largest esports venue in North America.

Our latest Invest in Our Economy newsletter details the $10 million, 100,000-square-foot stadium, which celebrated its grand opening with FACEIT's Esports Championship Series Season 6 Finals on Thanksgiving Weekend. The full broadcast at Esports Stadium Arlington saw a record-breaking 3.2 million hours of total watch time, with 2.4 million of those coming during the Finals. The tournament, with its $750,000 prize pool, is just the first of many events planned for this state-of-the-art event venue that was purpose-built to serve the unique and technologically advanced demands of the esports industry.

The Arlington City Council has identified "Invest in Our Economy" as one of five key priorities. This newsletter, which also features Bell's new Flight Research Center and L3 Technologies' recently expanded pilot training center, highlights activities and projects that focus on quality infrastructure, a versatile workforce, transformative redevelopment and support a vibrant business community.

All quarterly City Council priority newsletters are now produced in a digital formal, allowing for layers of additional video content and important links.
