Theatre Arlington to Open 46th Season with ‘The Sweetest Swing in Baseball’

Theatre Arlington is celebrating its 46th season in Downtown.

Tickets are on sale now for upcoming productions at Theatre Arlington, which is celebrating 46 years of live theater this season.

Theatre Arlington, which is one of the largest community theatres in the country, will open its season with The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, directed by Melanie Mason. Other scheduled shows from September through next August include the musicals, 9 to 5 The Musical and Miracle on 34th Street, as well as Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. The downtown theatre also has offerings targeted for youth audiences, including The Adventures of Nate the Great and Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr.

Theatre Arlington, part of Downtown Arlington's growing cultural arts district, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in North Texas and The American Dream City by presenting superior, diverse, artistic experiences through theater performance, production and education.
