Levitt Pavilion Arlington’s Annual Benefit Concert Features B-52s

Levitt Pavilion Arlington’s

Known as' The World' s Greatest Party Band,' the B-52s will bring their party rock to Levitt Pavilion Arlington Saturday, Oct. 8, for the pavilion' s annual benefit concert that raises funds for more than 50 free concerts a year.

Tickets for Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital presents The B-52s go on sale through the Levitt' s website,levittpavilionarlington.org at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24. Tickets are $40 for general admission and $195 for VIP tickets, which include a preconcert dinner and auction plus reserved seats in a VIP section at the 9 p.m. concert.

After 36 years and 20 million albums sold, the B-52s are still rocking concerts around the world with their groundbreaking songs like' Rock Lobster,' ' Dance This Mess Around' and' Private Idaho' and chart-topping hits like' Love Shack,' ' Roam' and' Deadbeat Club.' They re-emerged on the pop scene with their 2008 CD, Funplex, with signature B-52s' style and unforgettable dance-rock tunes that start a party every time their music begins.

Proceeds from the B-52s concert will help Levitt Pavilion Arlington provide more than 50 free, culturally diverse concerts. It is the only Levitt concert that requires a ticket purchase.

In addition to Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, the B-52s benefit concert is sponsored by the Levitt Foundation, MillerCoors, Peirson Patterson LLP, Peyco Southwest Realty and the University of Texas at Arlington.
